FR. THEODORE DORRANCEFr. Theodore was ordained in 1991. He served the Ascension Cathedral in Oakland, CA for two years as an assistant priest, St. Katherine in Redondo Beach, CA as proistamenos for four years, and founded the parish of St. John the Baptist in Portland, OR, which he served for twenty years. He and his wife, Presvytera Stacey, have four children and many grandchildren.
Fr. Theodore spent the first 26 years of his priesthood in the Metropolis of San Francisco, serving as a member of the Metropolis Council, Vicar of the Northwest region of the Metropolis, and Director of the Metropolis Ministry of Missions and Evangelism. In 2017, he transferred into the Metropolis of Denver to direct the new Office of Parish Health and Church Growth. He is also working on his Doctor of Ministry in Leadership. When he gets the chance, he enjoys the beautiful outdoors, fly fishing, hiking in the mountains, and taking long walks with his beautiful wife.
