Monthly Mentor-match
MNTR Participants connect with mentor-matches at least once monthly throughout the entire 9-12 month program to:
- Work on their mutual project as it emerges in the initial workshop.
- Articulate their personal goals and discuss the progress and challenges they’re facing in achieving those goals.
- Practice the relationship-building exercises explored in the workshop to encourage one another in Christ!
Safety and liability
MNTR's screening process for participants over age 21 includes a criminal background check and a Judgment Index assessment which help ensure the quality of MNTR participants. We also expect that your parish, school, or organization is utilizing appropriate screening, training, and best practices for your community's youth programs. Your community leadership should work closely with your local coordinator and MNTR staff to invite those who would make great mentor-matches.
Program pricing
If your parish, school, or community is ready to engage MNTR with 20 people or more, each person can participate for about 50 cents a day or just $15 per month! That's less than what a person typically spends on music lessons, uniforms, college textbooks, or coffee in a month!
