What is a Doulos?
When Orthodox Christians receive the Eucharist, the priest says to each communicant, "The servant of God (doulos tou theou), partakes of the Body and Blood of Christ for the remission of sins and life eternal."
Jesus said, "Whoever would be first must be slave (doulos) of all." (Mark 10:44)
Even Christ Jesus, "emptied himself, taking the form of a doulos . . . and humbled himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross." (Phil 2:7-8)

"You all should be proud of your work, well prepared and presented. Your content was deeper than prior discussions I attended on this subject. Our Orthodox Churches need this."
